Her specialisms include charter parties, bills of lading, carriage of goods, passenger and crew claims, protection and indemnity insurance and freight, demurrage and defence.
She also advises personal injury cases, medical negligence claims, and occupational illness and disease class actions.
Gemma trains clients’ management teams and personnel on health and safety policies, procedures, and risk management.
As well as marine clients, Gemma has represented global self-insured chemical companies and national museums.
Gemma is a British Marine Federation (BMF) member and the Bristol Steamship Association (BSA).
