On the road to COP28

Committed to helping you navigate the key themes and associated risks

The 28th Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP28) will take place from the 30th November – 12th December 2023 in Dubai. This year the COP28 Presidency has provided an integrated thematic program, designed to unite a diverse range of stakeholders around solutions to our world’s greatest climate challenges.

Against this backdrop, organisations around the world are facing increasing pressure to reduce their carbon footprint, become better corporate citizens and implement greater governance to achieve their climate-related goals. These requirements bring with them associated risks for companies – risks caused by the introduction of new regulations, risks linked to specific ESG-related impact mitigation and adaption, and risks surrounding the failure to minimise their contribution to climate change, to name but a few.

We are at the forefront of the climate change conversation because we have devoted energy and resources to the issue for many years. Having invested significantly in building a cross disciplinary and cross jurisdictional team with an innate knowledge of climate change risks, we are best placed to assist our clients manage the challenges they’re facing today, prepare for those of tomorrow, whilst also keeping sight of the opportunities presented by the transition to a low-carbon economy.

To help you mitigate your exposure to ESG risk and capitalise on the opportunities presented by COP28, our multidisciplinary team of climate change specialists are on hand to provide up to date insights before, during and after the event, including key takeaways direct from the Blue Zone.
