Re-domiciliation into the UAE: Key tax and legal considerations
Ghalya is a Senior Associate in Clyde & Co’s MEA corporate practice.
With over seven years of experience in the region, she has worked on a wide range of corporate and foreign direct investment matters, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring corporate groups, establishing and registering companies 'onshore' in Emirates of the UAE and in various free zones in the UAE, including the Dubai International Financial Centre, and across MEA. Ghalya has also worked on a wide range of commercial matters, including advising on commercial agencies, distribution and franchise agreements and intellectual property licence agreements across the UAE and MEA. Ghalya has also advised clients across various sectors such as Healthcare, Education, F&B, Hospitality, Retail and Technology.
Ghalya is a native Arabic speaker, and is also fluent in English.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co's Dubai office, Ghalya worked with a leading international law firm in London.
She studied in the United Kingdom, where she completed a law degree (with honours), a master degree in International and Comparative Commercial Law and a master degree in International Legal Practice.
