Claire is a dual-qualified solicitor who practises in Scotland, England and Wales. She specialises in regulatory and disciplinary matters. She is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in the Regulation of Professional Conduct Law.

Claire acts extensively for healthcare professionals, particularly doctors and dentists, before their regulators including the General Medical Council and the General Dental Council. She appears on behalf of practitioners at all stages of fitness to practise proceedings, local disciplinary proceedings and fatal accident inquiries. Claire has experience representing doctors and dentists in criminal matters, inquests, appeals, injunctive relief litigation and judicial reviews.

Claire also represents teachers before the General Teaching Council of Scotland assisting them at all stages of their proceedings.

Claire is experienced in representing practitioners in clinical negligence and aesthetic claims and has dealt with claims of varying complexity and value.
