  • Acted for a corporate client on its proposed investments in both onshore and offshore LNG projects
  • Acted for a corporate client on setting up LNG sales and marketing joint venture and LNG receiving terminal joint venture and a long-term LNG SPA
  • Acted for a Chinese bank in relation to the provision of multiple loans to Chinese telecom equipment manufacturers for the development and construction of a major cable and telecoms project overseas
  • Acted for a group of five city gas companies based in Greater Bay Area on LNG procurement including spot cargo trading and a long-term LNG SPA, followed by the drive made by the Chinese Central Government to open up the access to Chinese LNG receiving terminals to third parties
  • Acted for a substantial power group based in Greater Bay Area on multiple master and sale agreements (for LNG spot cargoes) and sale of gas back to back to LNG spot cargo trading and a long-term LNG SPA
  • Acted for a Chinese lender syndicate in relation to project financing of an independent thermal power project in Turkey
  • Acted for a Hong Kong based company on multiple investment agreements as part of its cash management exercise
  • Acted for a large Chinese leasing company on sale and lease back and refinancing of multiple LNG ships
  • Acted for a Chinese bank on the largest cross-border RMB lending to a foreign central bank so RMB could form part of the central bank’s foreign currency reserve
  • Acted for a Chinese bank on its largest acquisition finance transaction in recent years  involving purchase of US business
  • Acted for a Chinese lender syndicate on financing of the construction and delivery of three Arc 7 LNG ships (also known as ‘ice breaker’, a new type of LNG ship which can transport LNG under extreme cold weather condition)
  • Acted for Chinese and Japanese lenders on pre-delivery financing and delivery financing of multiple aircraft manufactured by Boeing and Airbus and ordered by Chinese airlines or leasing companies
