Full Profile

Kimberly Forrester advises US and London insurers on complex and high-exposure coverage disputes and claims involving private company, public company, and not-for-profit management and D&O liability policies. Kimberly’s practice is focused on domestic and international claims under directors and officers, employment practices, professional liability, financial institutions, general liability, and commercial auto liability policies. Her experience includes underlying claims involving class actions, government investigations, statutory violations such as the False Claims Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other common law claims.

Kimberly provides litigation monitoring and dispute resolution services, and she represents insurers at mediation and settlement conferences in both state and federal court litigation. She represents insurers throughout the entire life cycle of claims, from initial evaluation of coverage to responding to coverage challenges and beyond. Kimberly's ability to recall and analyze the smallest details, while never losing sight of the broader picture, enables her to develop and execute strategies that achieve the best possible results for her clients.

Earlier in her career, Kimberly served as a judicial extern to the president of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague. She was also involved in her law school’s California Asylum Representation Clinic, where she worked as a volunteer and mentor, advocating on behalf of asylum-seekers.
