Timothy (Tim) Carroll represents major insurance companies in complex insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts. He has significant experience prosecuting declaratory judgment actions and defending clients in those actions, including those involving allegations of bad faith.
Tim advises insurance companies on a broad spectrum of both first- and third-party claims, including business interruption and civil authority shutdown claims related to the ongoing coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. He has secured verdicts for clients in bench trials, and has briefed and argued appeals in appellate courts, including the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Tim was recognized in 2020 by JD Supra as one of its “Top 10” authors, for thought leadership in insurance.
Prior to joining the legal industry, Tim served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Gao, the Republic of Mali.
