Michael has significant experience assisting his clients in complex disputes before state courts and in arbitration proceedings (ICC, LCIA, QICCA, LMAA).
His practice encompasses a wide range of sectors (construction and engineering, energy, mining and infrastructure, consumer products) and regularly leads him to work on disputes arising from major accidents and catastrophic losses, as well as commercial and criminal litigation.
Michael has particular expertise of the construction industry and is equally at ease assisting major contractors during arbitrations proceedings as well as in high-value disputes before French courts. He is also regularly instructed by insurers to advise on a wide variety of construction-related matters.
Michael was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2008 and practiced as a Foreign Qualified Lawyer in the London office of Clyde & Co. Before joining the Bar, Michael worked as in-house counsel for several years at a global company.
He is fluent in French and English.
