Phoenix Barker

Full Profile

Phoenix Barker handles complex civil litigation matters with a focus on products liability, general liability, and catastrophic personal injury cases. She also has experience in commercial disputes, employment matters, and professional liability, where she has represented clients in the private and public sector against general tort claims involving premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice claims. Phoenix is involved in all phases of the litigation process, from pre-litigation claims, discovery, and motion practice, through mediation and trial.

During law school, Phoenix served as a judicial intern for Chief Judge Leslie B. Rothenberg of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. Additionally, during her second year of law school, Phoenix worked for We Robot, an academic conference focused on the legal and policy implications caused by the increasing sophistication and autonomous decision-making capabilities of robots and artificial intelligence. Prior to law school, Phoenix attended Georgetown University’s Summer in Washington Program, where she studied law, legislation, and politics and worked for a prominent DC lobbying firm.
