Full Profile
Florian qualified as a German lawyer in 2019 and joined Clyde & Co in April the same year. During his legal traineeship he spent part of his training at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, a commercial chamber at the Regional Court of Hamburg and worked for a leading international cargo and marine insurance company.
His focus is on advising domestic and international insurance companies in maritime and non-maritime related matters including complex insurance disputes such as cover defense, claims handling, third-party liability and recourse actions. Also he has experience in marine and yacht insurance as well as cargo policies and the underlying contract of carriage.
Florian further advises clients in relation to aspects of the yachting industry including new building contracts.
